As shipping businesses report a major increase in railroad theft, photos and videos of mounds of empty boxes abandoned along rail tracks in Los Angeles, California, have gone viral. Some of the boxes contain packages from UPS, Amazon, and FedEx.
Crime linked to rising poverty levels, which have risen during the pandemic. The county's instruction is designed to fight societal evils associated with misdemeanor convictions, such as employment, housing, schooling, government benefits, and immigration issues.
